Sports Injuries & Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury or surgery, we help restore strength, movement, and function safely and effectively. Our tailored rehabilitation programmes focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, and guiding you back to your best.
Techniques include: exercise therapy, stretching and mobility work, hands-on techniques, dry needling, and progressive rehabilitation programmes.
Muscle, Joint & Nerve Pain Management
We provide expert assessment and treatment for conditions causing pain, stiffness, or weakness — from neck and back pain to sciatica and joint dysfunction. Our goal is to restore comfortable, functional movement and prevent recurrence.
Techniques include: manual (hands-on) therapy, dry needling, guided exercise and mobility programmes, and personalised education on posture and load management.
Management of Chronic & Neurological Conditions
We support individuals living with chronic or neurological conditions such as arthritis, autoimmune disorders, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and diabetes. Treatment focuses on maintaining mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Techniques include: tailored exercise plans, stretching and mobility work, advice on assistive aids and equipment, and ongoing education for condition management.
Chest & Respiratory Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy plays a key role in improving breathing, clearing mucus, and restoring lung function in patients with chest conditions such as bronchitis, pneumonia, and COPD.
Techniques include: breathing exercises, chest clearance techniques, postural drainage, and guided home exercise plans to support recovery and long-term respiratory health.
Posture, Balance & Injury Prevention
We help improve posture, coordination, and overall fitness to prevent injuries and enhance movement efficiency — whether for daily life or sport. TMJ (jaw) conditions are also managed through targeted exercises and manual therapy.
Techniques include: exercise and stretching programmes, hands-on therapy, balance training, education on movement patterns, and advice on load management and ergonomics.
Meet Lindi
I’m Lindi van Niekerk, a physiotherapist passionate about helping people move better, reduce pain, and live healthier, more active lives.
After graduating from Stellenbosch University in 2015, my career has taken me from Kakamas to Windhoek, and finally back to the Western Cape, where I’ve settled in Somerset West. I am currently completing my Masters in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town, further deepening my expertise.
I manage a wide range of conditions, including:
- Sports injuries and rehabilitation
- General aches, pains, and musculoskeletal conditions
- TMJ disorders
- Chest conditions and sinusitis
- Balance and proprioception challenges
I believe in a holistic approach — not only treating current pain but also identifying areas that need strengthening or flexibility to help prevent future injuries.
Outside the practice, I love being in nature, whether it’s enjoying the ocean or keeping active through sports like padel.
